Five years ago, Robert Rodriguez was determined to make a movie about Red Sonja, the She-Devil With a Sword, starring his then-fiancee Rose McGowan. The film never happened, but you can see some fairly epic concept art.

The only official images we ever saw from Red Sonja were two posters, which Rodriguez brought to Comic-Con in 2008:

But now, Comic Book Movie has uncovered some Red Sonja concept art, by artists Nicole Lobart and William Budge with Red5 Design Group. It gives a pretty good sense of how Conan-esque the settings and adventures would have been, including a sinister citadel and a hanging bridge, and a strange bazaar.
